Timekeeper: Ask for a Spiritual Time Keeper. We have 3 minute shares, the readings will not be timed, just the shares. When you hear the Time Keeper gently say “time” please let them know you heard them by saying Thank you, I’ll wrap.
Read Anonymity statement: This is a gentle reminder that in Alanon we speak from our own experience because ours is derived from living with the effects of Alcoholism. We ask members of other anonymous fellowships to not break their anonymity, but to try and identify with the Al anon approach to the family illness. Ours is a different experience and calls for a different interpretation.
Ask the Time Keeper if they would like to share first.
There is no time requirement for being in Alanon to share at this meeting, all are welcome to share.
Five minutes to hour: When there is about 5 minutes left to the meeting, then say “ we have time for one more share”.
After the last share we thank the readers and all those who participated in the meetings.
